Handcrafted in a historic 17th Century Colonial Hacienda, this Mezcal is made from 100% wild Agave Cenizo Maguey (Agave  Duranensis). However, they are setting their minds into the future by taking preventive action of the over-harvesting of wild Agave across Mezcal producing states. This is why they've become pioneers in Agave semi-cultivation in Durango by planting over 50,000 Agaves every year since 2012. They take from 9-13 years to reach maturity, so their goal is to achieve a Mezcal that is made from 100% semi-cultivated Cenizo Maguey by 2024, and let the wild ones thrive. This is their commitment to mother earth.
