Tequila Arette Reposado is rested in American Oak, ex-bourbon barrels for 6-8 months. The barrel will replace some of the Agave notes with those found in raw bourbon such as spices, orange peel, pepper amongst other subtle notes. The time spent in a barel for a Reposado can not exceed 12 months therefore in the case of non-sweetend Reposado, colouring should be subtle and Agave should still be a dominant note.
